That’s an important question. Knowing God, according to Jesus in John 17:3, is eternal life. The Bible teaches us that knowing God in a trusting, relational, and saving way comes through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the heart of the Christian faith. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news of how a person can come to know the living God (John 17:3). It is the power of salvation (Romans 1:16). It is the good news of the kingdom of God (Matthew 4:23; 9:35; 24:14). It is the good news of God (Mark 1:14-15). It’s the good news about Jesus Christ (Acts 11:20).
