  1. Excellent comment on bringing our faith into the public life as well as the private life. We have compartmentalized our beliefs for so long that now it is our way of life. One for private, one for public. I have heard it said that we wear two masks, one for private viewing and one for public viewing. What would happen if we brought our private mask to work one day? Would we be welcomed? I am reminded of what Paul wrote: “to the believer we are a pleasant smell, but to the dying we are the stench of death”. That maybe why we protect our fragile ego by adopting the worldly mask in place of the Godly mask so people will like us. We have such weak self images.

    1. Amen Bob. You are right on the money. I couldn’t agree more. We’re sort of reared to compartmentalize. Coming to understand that Christ is Lord over every sphere of my life was one of the most revolutionizing and precious awakenings I ever had. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. Blessings, Dale
